    ‘Celeb’ watch…

Jason Bradbury is a governor at LDE UTC!

Also, an avid tweeter. Maybe not at this stage but definitely some good social media opportunities in the future.

Mulberry UTC achieved a major milestone with Planning Approval on 22nd March. Considering the size of the scheme it was touch and go with neighbours Right-to-Light issues. And you cant really blame them, but good news all the same.

If you can work out how to do this, worth watching at double the speed, its a bit slow otherwise…

Interesting article about student the rise of luxury student residential. It talks about Coventry in particular so is relevant to what we are doing at Godiva Place

We’re close to being appointed to deliver a series of landscape and public realm improvements for the University of Hull. Kate and Ricardo will be meeting up with them this friday.

With discussion about office improvements and potentially new offices in the not distant future I thought that this was an interesting article about office design – google getting a bit of grief – and judging by the images, I do tend to agree.

Interesting article here on Ash dieback, still a tree to avoid specifying and looks like this isn’t going to change any time soon.

Interesting that none of the ponds, swales or dry basins in the schools are fenced off! Even some of the larger ones!
Are we being too risk adverse with some of ours???? Discuss!!!

Some great examples of ‘dry basins’ we could use there. The schools seem to be on edge with them a bit but these photos look great.

Some interesting stuff here about SUDS, particularly in schools.
See projects section – potentially some of these could be used as examples of vegetated swales in schools…
